Futures4Business

The future is fragile, non-linear, complex, uncertain, and ambiguous. Climate change, pandemics, economic crises, energy transitions, social exclusion and inequality, intergenerational conflicts, political and social turmoil, along with the rapid evolution of technologies, shatter humanity’s capacity to use imagination for planning. There is a need for new skills and abilities in foresight and strategic prediction, necessitating a new “literature” and practice: that of Futures Studies.

Futures4Business is a project aimed at disseminating and enhancing Future Literacy (education in future studies) to inform everyone about the methods of imagination and anticipation required to improve our ability to prepare for changes, better confront possible and alternative futures, and actively participate in defining and guiding them.
